Andrew Canter

AIS Tutor


Andrew Canter is a Senior Tutor with Academic Integrity Seminar. He has a J.D. from Stanford University, a M.P.P. from Harvard University, and a B.A. from the University of Maryland. He clerked for Judge Leslie H. Southwick of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and Judge Carlton W. Reeves of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi. He has published in the Stanford Law Review, BYU Education and Law Journal, and Environmental Law Reporter.

Mr. Canter has contributed to student ethical development initiatives at several colleges and universities. At the University of Maryland, he chaired the Student Honor Council and served on a number of academic integrity and disciplinary hearing panels. At Stanford University, he served on Judicial Affairs panels involving academic integrity and Fundamental Standard charges. He also has assisted other colleges working to establish their academic integrity systems.
